Spice Club: Cardamom
Our theme for December is Cardamom! This versatile spice is used in many parts of the world and in a variety of dishes. It's especially common in Indian, Middle Eastern, and Scandinavian recipes. Here are a few ideas to get you started.
Here's how to participate:
1. Find a recipe (any source) that uses cardamom.
2. Prepare the recipe anytime between now and our meeting time.
3. Evaluate your experience! Was the recipe clear and easy to follow? Did it have ingredients that were hard to find? Will you be using cardamom again? Photos of the process are welcome but not essential. If you have photos you will want to share at the meeting, email them ahead of time to etobias@dconc.gov.
4. Come to the meeting and we'll show and tell and talk about our successes, our failures, and the lessons we've learned.
Don't forget to register! The link to the Zoom meeting will be sent to registrants the day before the meeting.
